Grants fund upgrades and enhancements

Thanks to generous support from the Hepburn Shire, and State and Federal Government Grants, we have been able to complete a number of projects and upgrades.

The Hepburn Shire funded the replacement of ageing locks. The pedestrian gates have been unlocked to permit public access to the grounds and efficient LED lights have been installed.

The Creswick Adult Riders are regular users of our grounds. They also received Hepburn Shire funding, which enabled the installation of a round-yard.

The shire also inoculated the beautiful elms around the grounds to protect them from a pest known as Elm Leaf Beetle.

Last year the Society received a State Government grant to install a disabled access shower, which should be completed soon, and will improve facilities available for show days and other events.

We also thank the Federal Government, who provides grants to Agricultural Societies to cover annual running expenses.
